file type.*(Please read the .DWG disclaimer)

- How do you make a PDF?
- Many applications can now export as a PDF (Portable Document Format). Acrobat
Professional from Adobe Systems is the premiere PDF creation
and editing suite. We also have had success using a “free”
product called PDF995.
- top
- Why is it important to convert to PDF?
- A correctly generated PDF will include all of the typefaces
(fonts) and images used in your document, thus simplifying
the whole process for you and us. Our output devices are all
tuned to print PDFs, so by using the Portable Document
Format, you are ensuring the highest quality with the fastest
possible turnaround time.
- top
- What changes might occur as my file is saved as a PDF?
- Be sure to view your PDF in the Adobe Reader software and
check for correct fonts, line and letter spacing, image
resolution, etc. What you see in the PDF is what will be
output.
- top
- How do I save my work as an attachment to an e-mail message?
- Most email programs offer an explicit “attach file” option,
either in the form of a button or a menu item. A paperclip
icon has become a standard for indicating “attach a file.”
Modern email programs will allow you to attach a file simply
by dragging the file icon onto the body of the email message. Be sure to zip compress your files prior to attaching and
sending, as the compression will protect the file from
becoming corrupted.

- I was sent a PDF file which I need printed. How do I make text
changes (e.g. name, date, etc.)?
- PDFs are editable in Acrobat Professional from Adobe Systems.
You can also investigate the possibilities offered by the
“free” PDF995 software.
We can offer assistance in making
minor corrections and alterations for a nominal fee. Please
contact us directly if you wish us to change and existing PDF
